WHAT TO NOTICE

Shape redirects the flow

Fluid accelerates around constrictions, often reducing static pressure. Viscosity creates boundary layers; behind blunt objects these layers separate, forming a low-pressure wake and alternating vortices as Reynolds number increases.

Re = ρvL / μq = ½ρv²FD = ½ρv²CDA
