What to notice

Heat flows from hotter regions towards colder ones. Conductive materials spread temperature changes quickly, while insulation adds thermal resistance. Convection exchanges heat with moving fluid, and radiation transfers energy electromagnetically without requiring a material medium.

q = −k∇T   ·   ∂T/∂t = α∇²T   ·   Q̇conv = hA(Ts−T∞)   ·   Q̇rad = εσA(Ts⁴−Tsur⁴)

Educational finite-difference model using representative material properties. Do not use it for engineering design or fire-safety analysis.
